EPA Extends Public Comment Period for Grain Elevator Rules Friday, November 07, 2014

The EPA has extended the public comment period on proposed changes to the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for grain elevators for an additional 45 days. The public comment period will end on December 22, 2014, rather than November 6, 2014. EPA extended the comment period to ensure that the public has sufficient time to review and comment on the proposed rule.

Classification Codes Updated for Air Emissions Processes at Facilities Monday, November 03, 2014
EPA has recently updated, consolidated and retired many Point Source Classification Codes (SCC) that are used to describe emission processes at facilities. The DNR has developed an excel file to assist facilities in using updated SCCs for their next emissions inventory report. read more...

Webinar Oct. 30 about Proposed Changes to Grain Elevator Air Regulations Tuesday, October 21, 2014
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed changes to the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for grain elevators based on its 8-year review of this Clean Air Act regulation. The proposed rule affects elevators at processing facilities with storage capacities of one million or more bushels and other elevators with storage capacities of 2.5 million bushels or more. read more...
