After accessing the web site, a User’s Guide is available to assist with navigation.

At this time, only a small portion of all LUST files are available for public viewing, but more will become available as this project progresses. If you cannot find records for a LUST site property, please contact DNR Records Center at 515-725-8480 or DNR.Records@dnr.iowa.gov

The goal of our Electronic Records Project is to index and digitize all records related to LUST facilities and make these available through this web site. However, given there are nearly 6,600 LUST site files stored in various forms (film, microfiche, paper, electronic), it is expected the project will take some time to complete. Files associated with LUST sites that have met regulatory closure are first in line to be digitized and uploaded. This project will help us organize and maintain permanent documents, make records readily available to the public, and free up storage space currently held by paper and filmed records at the DNR Records Center.
