Conservation Education Program (CEP)

The Conservation Education Program (CEP) is a key provision of the Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) Act of 1989. Approximately $350,000 is allocated annually through conservation education program grants.

Note:  On May 17, 2024 Governor Reynolds signed into law Senate File 2385, an Act relating to boards, commissions, committees, councils, and other entities of state government. The Department will now take action to update Iowa Administrative Rule 571.33 due to this change in law which will delay the November 1, 2024 REAP CEP Grant round until further notice. This website will be updated and notices sent through the REAP CEP listserv as we progress through this change. You can contact the REAP Coordinator for questions.
