Free Annual Hunting and Fishing License Application (Form #542-8056)
Residents of Iowa who are either a) permanently disabled AND the annual household income is below the federal poverty guidelines or b) age 65 or older AND the annual household income is below the federal poverty guidelines. Please see the application for the current federal poverty guidelines.
Veteran Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License Application (Form #542-1412)
A lifetime hunting and fishing license for veterans who have a service connected disability or were POW's.
Application for Eligibility for a Resident Non-Ambulatory Deer Hunting License (Form #542-0422)
Iowa residents who are certified by a physician as being non-ambulatory may apply for eligibility to acquire a paid non-ambulatory deer hunting license.

Crossbow for Deer and Turkey Hunting License Application (Form #542-1369)
A permit which allows the use of a crossbow while bow hunting for deer and/or turkey for persons who are certified by a physician as having a disability in the upper extremities.
Application for Eligibility for a Severely Disabled Deer Hunting License (Form #542-0417)
Hunters who are certified by a physician as being severely disabled may obtain a paid deer hunting license to hunt during the Disabled Hunter Season.
Motor Vehicle Use In Game Management Area, Park, Preserve
The DNR no longer requires a permit that allows for the use of a motor vehicle on game management areas, state parks or preserve. For persons who have a disability which makes it impossible to ambulate without the use of a motor vehicle, please work directly with DNR staff who are assigned to the game management area, state park or preserve. DNR staff will work with individuals to develop an access plan for each desired area. Individuals must keep the access plan with them when using the area.

A permit which allows qualified non-resident disabled military to purchase a non-resident deer tag at resident price and participate in a hunt that is conducted by an organization that conducts hunting experiences in this state for disabled persons.
Special Nonresident Disabled Military Turkey License Application (Form #542-0215)
A permit which allows qualified non-resident disabled military to purchase a non-resident turkey tag at resident price and participate in a hunt that is conducted by an organization that conducts hunting experiences in this state for disabled persons.
Special Nonresident Disabled Military Small Game Hunting License Application (Form #542-0216)
A permit which allows qualified non-resident disabled military to purchase a non-resident small game license at resident price and participate in a hunt that is conducted by an organization that conducts hunting experiences in this state for disabled persons.
