The Iowa DNR is seeking a Section Supervisor in the Land Quality Bureau, to serve as the central coordinator for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) across the entire department. This role bridges the gap between technical spatial data and natural resource management. In this position, you will lead a team of specialists, oversee federal grants (FEMA), and act as the primary liaison between the DNR, other state agencies, and the public. You will not only manage a section but also serve as a professional ambassador for the Department’s GIS initiatives.
