Trout stockings resume this week

The Iowa DNR will resume stocking trout in local ponds that had been delayed in October due to unseasonably warm water.

  • Ottumwa Park Pond (South Pond) in Ottumwa, will be stocked Nov. 4, at 11 a.m.
  • Prairie Park Fishery in Cedar Rapids, will be stocked Nov. 5, at 9 a.m.
  • Liberty Centre in North Liberty, will be stocked Nov. 5, at 1 p.m.
  • The East Lake fishing event in Mount Pleasant, is planned for Nov. 14, at 10 a.m.
  • The Lake of the Hills event in Davenport, is rescheduled for Nov. 14, at 12 p.m.
  • The Wilson Lake fishing event in Donnellson, is rescheduled for Nov. 14, at 12 p.m.
