WARREN COUNTY, Iowa - Authorities with the Warren Water District issued a boil advisory for much of Warren County including the cities of Milo, Martinsdale, New Virginia, Truro and Saint Mary's after the rural water district experienced a ruptured water line late Sunday that affected water levels and pressure in several water towers.

WARREN COUNTY, Iowa - Authorities with the Warren Water District issued a boil advisory for customers east of Highway 65/69 in Warren County and the city of Milo after the rural water district experienced a ruptured water line late Sunday that affected water levels and pressure in several water towers.

Water level to drop at Hooper Lake in Warren County

INDIANOLA - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) plans to start lowering the water level at Hooper Lake on May 5, to repair the drawdown structure. It is expected to take six weeks to completely drain the lake and construction will take place this fall. The DNR plans to refill the lake in 2022.
