Iowa’s archery deer season began October 1. Hunters have been out in their tree stands and as of Tuesday morning, reported harvesting more than 5,000 deer.
The NRC of the Iowa DNR will host its monthly meeting at 9:30 a.m., Oct. 9, in the Cobblestone Inn & Suites Meeting Room, 100 North Street, in Marquette.
