Volunteers with Iowa’s frog and toad survey have been collecting important information for more than 35 years. They’ll head out again this year on April 1.
Iowa DNR began a Peregrine Falcon restoration program in 1989 with 23 birds released in Cedar Rapids followed by another 19 released in Des Moines in 1991.
The DNR and ISU are looking for volunteers interested in performing night time surveys for bats in Dubuque, Pocahontas, Marshall, Franklin and Butler counties.
