Annual Urban Forestry Awards by Arbor Day Foundation & Iowa DNR recognize cities, colleges, and utilities for tree dedication, including Tree City USA winners.
The Iowa DNR will host a public meeting on March 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Maquoketa Valley High School auditorium to discuss an alum treatment at Silver Lake.
An estimated 2,800 students from more than 145 schools from across Iowa will participate in the 19th National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament.
