The Iowa DNR is partnering with Optimal Aquafeed and Page County Conservation Board to stock rainbow trout at 9 a.m. this Saturday, October 21 in RAPP Park.
Several catchable trout stockings on a few trout streams in Northeast Iowa will be delayed until the week of Sept. 11, due to low flows and high temperatures.
The popular trout stream stocking season starts on April 3. Find a list of stocked trout streams on the DNR trout stream map or the DNR trout fishing webpage.
The Iowa DNR fisheries staff will release between 1,000 and 2,000 rainbow trout in 13 lakes across Iowa in March and April as part of its trout program.
