About the Park

Bobwhite State Park is a County operated park in Wayne County.  It is home to an array of exciting activities such fishing, camping, swimming, birdwatching, educational programs, and more.  Enjoy five  miles of hiking trails at Bobwhite, much of which go through about 15 acres of restored prairie.  

Shelter rental though conservation office. Showerhouse available. Bring out your boat for the day with a dock for boat tie-up and kayak launching space. 

Seasonal Operations

In season for camping and activities April 1 through December 1. 

The Bobwhite campground stays open through out November to accommodate hunters and closes December 1st.  The campground reopens April 1st.
