Mill Creek Lake has provided anglers with quality fishing opportunities throughout the 2021 fishing season. The lake has easy access around most of its shoreline which makes finding the right spot easy. Less accessible areas and weed lines can be navigated around by canoe or kayak. Mill Creek Lake offers many good fishing opportunities for bluegill, black crappie, and largemouth bass. While sampling a few 10+ inch bluegill were observed as well as a good year class of 6-8 inch fish that will be of good size this coming year. A very large year class of 8-9 inch black crappie was also observed which should make for great ice fishing this winter as well as fish of good size to catch next season. There were a good amount of healthy 12-16 inch bass collected while sampling which should provide good opportunities for bass anglers. (2021)
