The water temperature is down to the lower 70's.
Black Crappie - Slow: The crappies remain out in deeper water. But I would expect them to come in a little shallower soon.
Bluegill - Good: The bluegills are starting to get a little bit more aggressive. Continue fishing in that 4-6 foot depth range as most have not moved in much shallower yet.

A stocking request was submitted to the IDNR hatcheries for largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. The order will be filled in 2009. Additionally, adult black crappie and redear sunfish will be collected from lakes in the area and stocked in Big Hollow Lake following the establishment of the aforementioned species.(2008)
