Blue Pit is stocked twice per season with Rainbow Trout. There is a November stocking arounf the Thanksgiving week and then a through the ice stocking in mid January. A total of 4,000 trout are stocked most seasons. Other gamefish species are present in Blue Pit, but most anglers target the trout in the fall and winter months.(2024)
