There will be a spring stocking of trout next Thursday (3/23) at around 10 am. 1000 rainbow trout will be stocked.
Rainbow Trout - Good: When they are first stocked, the trout will circle the pond fairly quickly as they get use to their new home. Using something flashy or bright that will catch their attention works best and then switch to slower lures and baits as they calm down.

Some limitations may apply for young children and pregnant women. Here’s a Fish Consumption Fact Sheet from the Iowa DNR and the Iowa Dept. of Public Health for more information.
