Location: 2.5 miles northeast of Greeley along Oak Road. Most of the fishery lies within Fountain Springs County Park

Brown Trout - Fair: Brown Trout - Fair: Use crankbaits, jigs, spinners, dry flies or nymphs.
Rainbow trout stocking has been on schedule. Brown trout fishing has been fair, especially in the evenings.
Rainbow Trout - Good: Rainbow Trout - Good: Try jigs, spinners, crankbaits or live bait.

Fountain Springs is stocked with catchable rainbow trout from April -October of each year. Most of Fountain Springs is in county or state ownership, but portions of upper and lower Fountain Springs are in private ownership and require permission. Most of the county park has good access for fishing and primitive camping is also available.(2022)
