Clean Power Plan for Existing Power Plants

On June 21, 2019, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) repealed the Clean Power Plan, effective September 6, 2019. It has been replaced by the Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule, which requires states to develop plans to address greenhouse has emissions from existing coal-fired power plants. State of Iowa Comments on EPA's Proposed 111(d) Rulemakings
