Celebrate clean air and get outside

Run. Hike or bike. Hunt for mushrooms. Photograph wildflowers. As temperatures warm and people head outdoors, they can usually count on good air quality. Iowans especially have something to celebrate. Over the last 25 years, Iowa industries have significantly reduced six major air pollutants while growing our economy.

Online Permit Application System Gets New Name

DNR Online Application System for Air Quality Permits Moves Forward

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has received an appropriation of $954,000 from the Technology Reinvestment Fund (SF 2414, 87th Iowa General Assembly) to implement an electronic air permit application system, e-Application. On June 19, DNR received approval from the Environmental Protection Commission to move forward with the project and enter into a contract with enfoTech & Consulting, Inc., of North Brunswick, New Jersey.
