The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be conducting prescribed burns this spring on wildlife management areas managed by the Iowa DNR’s Clear Lake Wildlife Unit in Cerro Gordo, Hancock, Franklin, Winnebago, Worth and Wright counties.

DES MOINES, Iowa - The 2023 Iowa Archery in the Schools Program season culminated with the state tournament March 4-5 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, where nearly 1,800 archers competed for scholarships and awards in bullseye targets and 780 archers competed for scholarships and awards 3D targets.

DES MOINES — The Environmental Protection Commission will review an adopted rule amending Iowa Code related to Beverage Container Deposits, a contract with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship regarding the Easter Lake Watershed Project and determine whether to approve the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plans Third Quarter Updates at its Dec. 13 meeting.
