Since 2014, Pollution Prevention Services has hosted one-day “EMS In Depth” workshops for Iowa environmental professionals. Due to popular demand, this workshop series continues and offers another step in the development of your environmental management system.

“EMS In Depth: Nonconformity, Corrective & Preventive Actions and Transitioning your ISO EMS to the 2015 Standard” will be focused on addressing nonconformity issues including developing corrective and preventative actions. This workshop will also provide information and direction related to successfully transitioning your ISO EMS to the new 2015 standard. Future workshops in the EMS In Depth series will focus on other identified portions of the EMS process which are determined in part on attendee feedback and requests.

Leading the workshop will be Cory Sander of PSARA Technologies, Inc. Cory has led our previous “EMS In Depth” workshops and has extensive experience developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 14001 and other EMS for numerous organizations including Honda, Ford, BNSF Railway, the City of Columbus, and Iowa DNR.

Join us on July 19 as we learn from Cory and each other how to develop and continuously improve our EMS!
