Risk Assessment Methodology for Water Utilities (RAM-W) by Sandia National Labs. Provides a methodology for conducting vulnerability assessment programs for water utilities. All other relevant stakeholders may obtain a copy of the methodology from the AWWA for $90. Related training can cost between $300 and $3000. This program is best suited to facilities serving populations > 100,000.

Vulnerability Self-Assessment Tool (VSAT-Water & Wastewater) Funded by the EPA and developed by the AMSA -- the software and related on-line training opportunities are available free of charge. VSAT provides a comprehensive assessment tool that could be used and understood by every water utility manager. This program is best suited to facilities that serve populations between 10,000 to 100,000.
