Cost-share is available through the Prairie Creek Watershed Project for most landowners looking to add conservation practices to their land. Through various grants and programs, projects may be funded between 50 and 90 percent. Projects include:
- Ponds- 75 percent
- Water and sediment basins- 75 percent
- Grass waterways- 50 percent
- Livestock exclusion- 75 percent
- Filter strips and riparian buffers- 90 percent
- Streambank stablization-75 percent
- In-stream habitat-75 percent
- Ag waste settling basins-75 percent
