Watershed Project

Funding

Landowners partnering with the Littlefield Lake Watershed Project are eligible to receive financial assistance to add conservation practices to their land and improve the watershed. Costs of projects may be funded up to 75 percent through various grants and programs. Funding sources include:

  • Iowa DNR- Watershed improvement funds- section 319
  • Iowa Dept. of Agriculture and Land Stewardship-Division of Soil Conservation
    • Watershed Protection Funds (WSPF)
    • Water Protection Funds (WPF)
  • USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service
