Lake Darling Watershed Project
Since 1999, water quality at Lake Darling has drastically improved.

Landowners and residents are working together with the Lake Darling Watershed Project to improve their lake.

By installing conservation practices and making other changes, Lake Darling residents are working to improve their farming operations, their land, their lake and the future.

What's a watershed?

A watershed is the area of land that drains into a lake or stream.

Water traveling over the surface or through groundwater may pick up contaminants like sediment, chemicals and waste and deposit them in a body of water.
