Landowners and residents are working together with the Big Wall Lake Watershed Project to improve their lake.

By installing conservation practices and making other changes, Big Wall Lake residents are working to improve their farming operations, their land, their lake and the future.

What's a watershed?

A watershed is the area of land that drains into a lake or stream.

Water traveling over the surface or through groundwater may pick up contaminants like sediment, chemicals and waste and deposit them in a body of water.
