The Iowa Wastewater Facilities Design Standards were adopted in the late 1970's and early 1980's. The Iowa DNR has initiated a review of the selected Chapters and revisions have been proposed. The Chapters currently under review are:
- Chapter 11 - Project Submittals
- Chapter 12 - Iowa Standards for Sewer Systems
- Chapter 13 - Wastewater Pumping Stations and Force Mains
- Chapter 14 - Wastewater Treatment Works
- Chapter 18C - Wastewater Treatment Ponds (Lagoons)
Copies of these Chapters with proposed revisions can be downloaded using the links below. The IDNR welcomes any questions or comments from anyone who has an interest in this program update.
