AWARE 05 Overview
The third annual Project AWARE (A Watershed Awareness River Expedition) took
place from Saturday, June 18 to Saturday, June 25 on the Little Sioux River in northwest Iowa.
This weeklong outdoor adventure invites Iowans to make a stand for water quality. Volunteers spend anywhere from one
day to an entire week canoeing, cleaning trash from the river, and learning about water quality and other natural resources
topics.
