Trail Crew

The Trail Crew is a group of AmeriCorps members who travel throughout Iowa's parks, forests, and preserves maintaining and building trails, and doing ecosystem management which includes clearing invasive species and conducting and assisting in prairie burns. Some of the crew work year around, and others work for the summer season.

Becoming a member of the AmeriCorps Ecosystems Management Team provides a special opportunity to work alongside others who share a common commitment to protecting the environment. Living and working together, we hope to learn from one another and grow as individuals. (Learn more about AmeriCorps)

If you are interested in working on the Trails Team, contact Whitney Davis at (515) 281-6271 or via email at Whitney.Davis@dnr.iowa.gov.
