This page contains electronic spill reporting data that is collected during the initial report of an incident.
Additional information may be found in the incident files located at the DNR Records Center. These files contain hard copies of the initial incident files and follow-up reports and may contain information not in the electronic file accessible below.
Files are stored chronologically by county in file series Con 12-2-3 and can be researched Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM excluding holidays. To view or request information please contact the Iowa DNR Records Center at (515) 242-5818 during normal business hours.
Monthly Reports
These documents are copies of the monthly reports sent to the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission. Prior to September 2006 these reports covered a variable time period as noted on each individual report.
These reports and tables contain information on initial spill incidents collected over a longer period of time. They are intended for individuals conducting research, statistical analysis, and planning activities.
