Environmental Reviews for Natural Resources Natural Resource reviews consist of a record of review for protected species (state and federal listed endangered or threatened), rare natural communities, state lands and waters in the project area, and include review by personnel representing state parks, preserves, recreation areas, fisheries and wildlife. Natural Resource review does not constitute a permit and before proceeding with a construction project you may need to obtain permits from the DNR or other state or federal agencies. The Department of Natural Resources receives many requests for Natural Resource reviews from individuals, companies and public agencies that wish to proceed with construction. In order to process and complete a Natural Resource review and to diminish the delay in receiving a review, please provide the following information:
