Schaller Residents Asked to Conserve Water Usage Due to Failed Pump
SCHALLER - Residents of Schaller in Sac County are being asked to conserve water after the pump on the city's well failed. Schaller and Iowa Department of Natural Resources officials are asking residents to use water from their taps only in emergency situations until repairs are made or a replacement pump can be found. The city has been without electricity since 3 p.m. Friday and had been able to pump water using a generator. Sometime during the night, the main pump to the city's water supply failed.
