2009 Licenses Expire January 10
DES MOINES - Iowa's 2009 hunting and fishing licenses expire on January 10. Licenses for 2010 are available from nearly 1,000 vendors or online at www.iowadnr.gov. Deer hunters with tags for the January antlerless-only season are required to purchase a new hunting license and pay the habitat fee, if normally required to hunt. Hunting and fishing licenses purchased in 2010 are valid until January 10, 2011. Money generated from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses goes directly into supporting Iowa's natural resources.
