Information Bar

The Information Bar is located directly above the Interactive Map and below the Toolbar. Since several Internet users of the Iowa DNR Interactive Mapping website have pop-up blockers enabled in their browser settings, the Information Bar was created to display data that used to display in a pop-up window. Some examples of information that are displayed in the Information Bar follows:

When you first start up an interactive map, helpful tips are displayed in the Information Bar. When you select certain tools in the Toolbar, the instructions for using those tools will appear in the Information Bar. If you change the active layer in the Legend, text will appear, and when you Identify tool or Query data on the Interactive Map, attribute data will also appear in the Information Bar.
