Come visit the Iowa Department of Natural Resources at the 2010 National Pheasant Fest in Des Moines at the Iowa Events Center February 26 - 28, 2010. Take your best shot at either our Department sponsored archery range or laser shot booth in the Youth Village. Also be sure to check out one of the many Department seminars that will run throughout the show. It's an event for the whole family that you won't want to miss.

Five Juveniles at Center of Deer Poaching Case

MARION COUNTY, Iowa - A nearly two month investigation into deer poaching in southern Iowa has resulted in five juveniles from three counties facing multiple wildlife and criminal charges.

Banner Shooting Range Winter Hours
Banner Shooting Range will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00AM to Sunset and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM to Sunset. The range will be closed on Wednesdays. You can find a copy of the local sunset table in your Iowa DNR Hunting & Trapping Regulations booklet,*pdf.

If the temperature is 10 degrees F or lower the range will be closed. Please call ahead for potential weather related closings. 515/961-6408
