Certified Labs

Analyses performed to provide data to be submitted to the DNR must be accomplished through laboratories certified for the parameters being measured.  The certification process is in cooperation with the University of Iowa Hygienic Laboratory (UHL).

If you are interested in the methodology used in certifying laboratories for UST analyses, you may wish to look at the UHL description of its program related to UST analysis on the UHL Introduction or UHL Certification web pages

You can access the UHL database to do a search based on the analyses you want performed on the UHL Kits, Quotes, Forms page or you can search the UHL database by submitting a form to UHL for access.
