The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is proposing to clear cut approximately 3 acres of dead and dying timber in Backbone State Park caused by the flash flood of 2010 through a salvage timber sale.
The public is invited to discuss this proposal during a public meeting at 6:30 p.m., Jan. 22, at the Dundee Community Center.
