Boil Advisory Lifted for Burlington and West Burlington
Residents of Burlington and West Burlington can drink their tap water again after a boil advisory was lifted early this morning.
The DNR and Burlington Municipal Waterworks lifted the advisory after two sets of water samples taken a day apart tested clean for bacteria.
The advisory was issued Sunday after a water main break caused parts of the system to lose water pressure. Pressure drops can allow bacteria to enter the drinking water.
