Come Fishing with Van and Bonnie, Iowa DNR Friday

Join the Iowa Department of Natural Resources at the Des Moines Area Community College West Campus, 5959 Grand Ave., in West Des Moines, and go fishing with Van and Bonnie live on WHO radio from 5 to 9 a.m., June 1.

The event is during free fishing weekend when Iowans are not required to have a license to fish. Free fishing weekend is June 1-3.

Experts from the Iowa DNR will offer tips for fishing success and have fish samples to taste.  Live bait will be provided.

The event is catch and release fishing only.
