Bluebird Conference in Ames

The Story County Conservation and Iowa Bluebird Conservationists are hosting a Bluebird Conference on April 14, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Story County Conservation Center, 56461 180th Street, about 4 miles northeast of Ames. There is no registration fee although a free-will offering will be accepted to help cover the costs.

Learn basic and advanced strategies to welcome these birds into your natural areas.  Stan Buman and Ty Smedes are scheduled for presentations.  Don Poggensee has provided some of his incredible images for the lunch hour.

Attendees are invited to bring a potluck dish to share. A main course will be provided. Or they can bring their own lunch.
