Trout Stocking Delayed at Dalton Pond
Posted: 03/25/2013
Preston, Iowa – Trout stocking at Dalton Pond will be delayed until maintenance work is completed at the pond.

“We wanted to complete work on the pond prior to the April 1st opening of stocking season, but the weather had a different plan,” said Dan Kirby, fisheries biologist with Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
The first stocking for Dalton Pond is now planned for April 11.  Call the “Trout Stocking Hotline” at 563-927-5736 for the most up to date information regarding trout stockings.
