Boil Advisory Lifted for Clover Ridge Subdivision in Walford
The DNR lifted the boil advisory for the Clover Ridge Subdivision in Walford today.
Test results show five water samples drawn from the subdivision’s water supply on Oct. 18 are absent of bacteria, indicating the water is safe to drink.
The DNR issued the boil advisory Oct. 15 after routine water tests came up positive for E. coli bacteria. Three out of four subsequent samples taken Oct. 11 also tested positive for total bacteria, but did not contain E. coli.
The subdivision shock chlorinated the wells and then retested them. Water samples are drawn and tested routinely to monitor drinking water safety.
