Water Summary Update

DES MOINES—Today’s Water Summary Update shows continued improvement in conditions around the state.  Precipitation across the northern tiers of counties over the past two weeks has resulted in improved groundwater levels in wells in northwest Iowa as well as improved streamflow.

The report is prepared by the technical staff from the Iowa DNR, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and the USGS, in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division.
