Teaching Outdoor Skills: Fish Iowa!
June 26, 9:00am - 8:00pm & June 27, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Audience: Educators (teachers, naturalists, youth leaders)
The training includes sessions in fishing - equipment, casting, ID, cleaning (anatomy), cooking, and safety with bonus sessions on mechanics of fly casting, fly tying, fish propagation (hatcheries), and watersheds. Participants receive the comprehensive Fish Iowa! module and learn teaching strategies, tips, and tricks from peers. (1 teacher recertification credit or 1 EDEX graduate credit)
