Lower Pool River Accesses Closing Due to High Mississippi River Levels
Posted: 04/12/2013

The Toolesboro Road is closed and will remain closed until the Mississippi River level drops below 12 feet at the New Boston gauge.

The Tama Beach boat ramp is also not accessible due to high water. The river level at Burlington is 14.42 feet and is predicted to reach flood stage of 15 feet on April 13. When the river level drops below 10.5 feet, the Tama Beach boat ramp will be accessible again.
