The Iowa DNR maintains three Records Centers: the main Records Center at the Wallace Building, and two satellite Records Centers for Air Quality and Water Supply records.
Records Center staff strives to serve both the public and DNR staff by managing the Department's Records efficiently and with a high degree of integrity.
DNR Records Centers are open 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for state holidays, for the public to view open records relating to environmental and conservation interests.
Public Records (FOIA) requests should be sent to the Open Records Coordinator at 515-242-5818 or
