Come down for a fun filled hike through the Barney Peterson nature trail. This guided hike will take you to cool places along the trail where you can see wildlife and learn neat things about them!

Come down for a fun filled program and make your own nature book! You will learn cool things about wildlife and their environment.

Marble Beach State Park Campground
2 - 3pm
Come Learn about all the great attractions at Lewis and Clark State Park. You can see all the beautiful sites the park has to offer and see all the boats that were used on the Lewis and Clark expedition.  Also any questions you have can be answered.

Come walk the trails and see all the different birds in their natural habitat.

Learn about invasive species and how they are affecting our wildlife. We will play some games and do a cool demonstration!

Emerson Bay State Park Campground
By the light of a nearly full moon we will explore the calm waters of the Odessa Wildlife Complex to learn about the stories of the night sky. This round trip will start and end at Snively Campground on the Odessa Water Trail. Participants will leisurely paddle around Odessa stopping along the way to hear various stories of the constellations and our night sky. Client Contact Group, 1-3 p.m. Wallace The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recognizes the need to provide the public with a way to learn about new programs and requirements related to Environmental Services programs. The Client Contact Group is an open forum to discuss new rules or program developments on the state and federal level. These meetings are a good source of information for anyone who works with or has an interest in activities related to environmental management.
