Public Input Opportunity: DNR Draft Proposal to Rescind and Update Rules Wednesday, September 10, 2014
The Iowa DNR Air Quality Bureau (DNR) invites the public to provide informal comments on a draft rulemaking proposal. The proposal includes rescissions to several unnecessary rules and updates to two rules to reduce regulatory requirements. RICE Rules: EPA Announces Results of Reconsideration Tuesday, August 26, 2014
EPA published in the Federal Register (79 FR 48072) a notice announcing its decision to not make any regulatory changes based on its reconsideration of the final National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE). These rules are sometimes referred to as the “RICE NESHAP” and the “Engine NSPS.” read more...
