Perc Dry Cleaners

Through July 31, 2013, DNR staff will be conducting compliance assistance visits at perc dry cleaning facilities. The purpose of these visits is to ensure that dry cleaners understand the air quality regulations that they’re subject to, and ensure that the owners of these facilities have access to the many tools available that can help them comply with these regulations.

Checklists that will be used during compliance assistance visits:

• Checklist for new perc dry cleaning facilities |
  This form will be used for dry cleaning machines that were installed after December 9, 1991.
• Checklist for existing small perc dry cleaning facilities |
  This form will be used for dry cleaning machines that were installed before December 9, 1991, at facilities that use less than 140 gallons of perc each year.
• Checklist for existing large perc dry cleaning facilities |
  This form will be used for dry cleaning machines that were installed before December 9, 1991, at facilities that use more than 140 gallons of perc each year.
