District-Wide Trout Stream Fishing Report

Northeast Iowa streams are in superb shape and trout fishing has been good. As of last weekend, there were still Dark Hendricksons hatching in the afternoons, with a few Light Hendricksons as well. Blue Wing Olive and caddis hatches have also been excellent. Please call 563-927-5736 for current stocking information.

Some limitations may apply for young children and pregnant women. Here’s a Fish Consumption Fact Sheet from the Iowa DNR and the Iowa Dept. of Public Health for more information.
